HumanitiesDC Soul of the City Student Earns First Place at DC National History Day Competition

This year, students in HumanitiesDC’s Soul of the City (SOTC) youth leadership program at Cesar Chavez High School have learned about DC’s history through museum visits, field trips and conversations with guest experts. Students then prepared individual exhibits for the DC Citywide National History Day Competition at the National Archives on April 30.
