Our “DC Writers’ Homes” Launch was the House Warming We’ve Always Wanted

Not everyday do you get the chance to meet your favorite author, let alone visit their home. This past Thursday (Nov. 29th), however, we were granted access into the lives and living rooms of Washington DC’s most celebrated writers…virtually, that is. Dc Writers’ Homes is a project created by authors Kim Roberts and Dan Vera. The HumanitiesDC sponsored study documents the homes of literary authors who once lived in the greater DC region. DC Writers’ Homes: Website Launch

Join us as we celebrate the launch of our new online database honoring the writers who have historically captured the human condition in our city and around the world through their literary works. Enjoy food, an open bar and a guided tour by creators Kim Roberts and Dan Vera of our newly designed D.C. Writers website on November 29th at the Uline Arena. This project documents the homes of literary authors who once lived in the greater Washington, DC region.
