HATFestDC Recap: 1,400 Residents Celebrate Humanities, Arts & Technology Festival

HATFestDC Returns October 4, 2014   (Washington, DC) – The Humanities, Arts & Technology Festival took place August 2-3 at Gateway DC on St. Elizabeths East Campus. This creative display of Washington was co-planned by The Humanities Council of Washington, DC and THEARC. The Batala Drummers and Dancers opened the festival with a processional to the main stage, followed by performances from Cecily Bumbray, Aaron Abernathy, Wes Felton, Reesa Renee and Father’s Children on Saturday.
