Go beyond the basics of proposal writing, and strengthen your grant proposal at the Humanities Council’s Grant Writing Clinic at 1 p.m. on October 14. Open to grant-writers at all experience levels, this Grant Writing Clinic will give individualized feedback to each participant on one of their own grant proposals, while providing them with the fundamental knowledge to strengthen their fundraising efforts. The workshop will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Humanities Council Office at 925 U Street

HATFestDC Recap: 1,400 Residents Celebrate Humanities, Arts & Technology Festival

HATFestDC Returns October 4, 2014   (Washington, DC) – The Humanities, Arts & Technology Festival took place August 2-3 at Gateway DC on St. Elizabeths East Campus. This creative display of Washington was co-planned by The Humanities Council of Washington, DC and THEARC. The Batala Drummers and Dancers opened the festival with a processional to the main stage, followed by performances from Cecily Bumbray, Aaron Abernathy, Wes Felton, Reesa Renee and Father’s Children on Saturday.
