Our “DC Writers’ Homes” Launch was the House Warming We’ve Always Wanted

Not everyday do you get the chance to meet your favorite author, let alone visit their home. This past Thursday (Nov. 29th), however, we were granted access into the lives and living rooms of Washington DC’s most celebrated writers…virtually, that is. Dc Writers’ Homes is a project created by authors Kim Roberts and Dan Vera. The HumanitiesDC sponsored study documents the homes of literary authors who once lived in the greater DC region. With over 340┬ánovelists, poets, playwrights and memoirists

HumanitiesDC Celebrates!

Join HumanitiesDC in celebrating our city from an international, national, local, and hyperlocal dimension. This year we focus on the stories that shaped 1968. The world changed in 1968 through storytelling, often in music, advocating for change in our neighborhoods and around the world. This special event celebrates the stories and hopes of that pivotal year, as history comes to life. All proceeds support HumanitiesDC Special thanks to our sponsors: Double Nickels Theatre Company, Dykema Gossett PLLC, Gamble-Huff Music, WPFW
