Save the Date for the Humanities, Arts & Technology Festival – #HATFestDC- August 2-3!

Soul of the City Launches in Congress Heights, Teaching 50 Students Civic Leadership

The Humanities Council is pleased to launch two Soul of the City programs this summer. Collectively, both programs will serve 50 D.C. Youth. Soul of the City is our signature youth leadership development program presented in partnership with the Summer Youth Employment Program. Each Soul of the City participant will:  Gain a new understanding of DC and their role in the city Learn about DC’s local, national, and international dimensions Gain practical skills in public humanities, technology, and new media
