Illuminate Hidden Stories Through Our Humanities Vision Partnership Grant

Formerly known as the Open Humanities Grant, the Humanities Vision Partnership Grant Program provides financial and capacity building resources for innovative interpretations of the humanities. This exciting new opportunity encourages applicants to share their unique perspectives on settled scholarship

HumanitiesDC’s Vision Grant has created space for ground breaking insight into the cultural tapestry of our Nation’s Capital. Past grant recipients include the National Building Museum for their Investigating Where We Live study and the Greater Washington Urban League for their exploration of Black Georgetown.

The work of our partners is integral in the preservation of Washington, DC’s rich culture and heritage. Through the illumination of these hidden stories and unique perspectives, we place the restorative power of the humanities into the hands of our neighbors.

This project was supported by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
