Humanities Vision Grant Workshop

January 29 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Learn How to Become a HDC Partner through a Grant

Final Application due First Friday in March 2019

We are excited to kick off the 2019 partnership grants season with two grant opportunities a Humanities Vision Grant and a Soul of the City Grant. Unlike past years, these grant programs are designed as partnerships between HumanitiesDC (HDC) and community organizations (partners). You are invited to attend the workshop and network with others considering developing a Humanities program focusing on capturing an aspect of DC culture. Plan to share your ideas about possible projects.

The grant programs are conceived to help create exciting public humanities program for the people of Washington, D.C. Each grant will provide financial and capacity building resources to partners interested in creating innovative interpretations of humanities scholarship for public audiences. Partnership proposals will be reviewed in April and awarded in May.

We hope you will join us for a grants workshop where you can learn more about the guidelines and qualifications for these highly-accessible grant programs!
