Resource Center
Often the Humanities Council of Washington, DC’s grants and programs result in the production of cultural artifacts in the form of oral histories, documentary films, brochures, art installations and other media. Over the years, we have collected this material in our Resource Center to preserve it and make it available to the general public. We are in the process of digitzing as much of the material as possible, and developing creative new ways of helping these artifacts tell the stories of the individuals and groups who created them.
Additionally, the Humanities Council of Washington, DC has produced a number of television programs which have aired on local stations. Our online catalog is under development, so check back frequently to view recently updated, newly added, and featured items. We look forward to creating new ways to help our audience access and use the digital collection.
