    The 2012 DC Community Heritage Project Symposium

     

    What:

    Come by 6:15 PM to enjoy a chance to network and chat with fellow DC history lovers over some light refreshements!

    Session 1.

    Community historians who will discuss the current state of heritage preservation in the District. The panel will be moderated by National Parks Service Deputy Director, Mickey Fearn.

    Session 2.

    An archivist from the Library of Congress will discuss practical methods for preserving and digitizing personal historical artifacts such as family photos, home movies, and even email correspondence!
