Dittman describes Arena's production of "Straight Lick With A Crooked Stick," originally written by Zora Neale Hurston. Then, Quique Aviles discusses his performance art piece called "Caminata: A Walk Through Immigrant America." Finally, Libbie Rifkin explains her project called "Renaissance Man: A Celebration of Sterling Brown Across the Arts" which was presented at the Folger Shakespeare Library.

Each interviewee discusses a project funded by the Humanities Council in 2002.
