Acclaimed documentary filmmaker Aviva Kempner shares some memories of her work on pieces such as: The Partisans of Vilna, The Life and Time of Hank Greenberg, and Yoo-Hoo Mrs. Rosenberg. Kempner's work focuses on telling the stories of little-known Jewish heroes. She credits Women in Film and Video of Washington, DC with providing her and her colleagues in the area with valuable mentoring and networking support.
